Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Daniel Grabowski ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Wickgrid mobile application ("Wickgrid" or the "App"). Wickgrid is designed to collect as little information as possible.

• No server-side storage of gameplay data. Your puzzle progress stays on your device.
• If you use iCloud, your progress syncs privately through your own Apple iCloud account.

Data and Privacy

Wickgrid does not collect, transmit, or store your personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party SDKs.

Your puzzle progress — solves, times, streaks, and statistics — is stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, this data also syncs privately through your own iCloud account so your progress follows you between your devices. This sync happens directly between your devices and Apple's iCloud service. The data lives in your private iCloud database, which the developer cannot access, and it is never sold, shared, or transmitted to the developer or to anyone else.

If you are not signed in to iCloud, or if you turn off iCloud for Wickgrid in your device settings, the app works exactly the same — your progress simply stays on that device.

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. The developer never sees your payment information.

Wickgrid works fully offline and requires no account.

Information We Do Not Collect

Wickgrid does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, device identifiers for advertising, precise location, contacts, photos, or browsing history. Wickgrid does not use analytics services, advertising networks, or crash-reporting SDKs that transmit personally identifiable information off your device.

Information Stored On Your Device

Wickgrid stores gameplay state locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This includes your solving progress on the current daily puzzle, historical completion records, current streak, and preferences. This data is not transmitted to us and is removed when you delete the App.

iCloud Sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, Wickgrid uses Apple's CloudKit to keep your puzzle progress in sync across your devices. This data is stored in your private CloudKit database, encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple, and is not accessible to the developer. You can disable iCloud for Wickgrid at any time in iOS Settings.

In-App Purchases

Wickgrid may offer optional in-app purchases processed through Apple's StoreKit framework. Payment information is handled by Apple; we do not receive your payment card details. Apple provides purchase receipts that we validate locally on your device to unlock purchased features.

Local Notifications (Optional)

With your permission, Wickgrid may schedule local notifications on your device — for example, a daily reminder when a new puzzle is available. These notifications are generated on-device. No push notification server is used, and no notification content is sent off-device. You may disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

Children

Wickgrid does not knowingly collect any personal information from any user, including children. The App is suitable for general audiences.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because gameplay data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all Wickgrid data by uninstalling the App or by resetting progress from within the App. If you use iCloud sync, deleting the App from all your signed-in devices will also remove the data from your private iCloud database over time according to Apple's CloudKit retention policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
